Myotonic Dystrophy Mini Symposium With Focus on Newborn Screening

New York Myotonic Dystrophy Center (NYDMC), part of the Center of Excellence in RNA Research & Therapeutics) brought together researchers from across the country for a symposium focused on newborn screening for myotonic dystrophy (DM) and advancing sequencing techniques to gain a deeper understanding of the disease. Attendees included clinicians, academic scientists, and industry representatives involved in developing therapeutics for myotonic dystrophy. The event was co-organized by NYDMC and Myotonic Dystrophy Foundation.
