CERRT is dedicated to training the next generation of scientists and advancing workforce development in the biotech and pharma sector of New York State.
Both the RNA Institute at the University at Albany and the Center for RNA Biology at the University of Rochester Medical Center offer a range of training programs designed to support students at all levels, from undergraduates to postdoctoral scholars, fostering academic growth, research skills to be suitable for industrial setting, and professional development.
Internship Training at Industries

Through strategic collaborations with New York-based biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies, CERRT provides current trainees with valuable internship opportunities.


The RNA Institute, UAlbany
Students will participate in hands-on research focused on scientific discovery in and around ribonucleic acid (RNA) science and RNA-based technologies. Students will be provided with stipends, housing, and meal support and will work closely with RNA Institute faculty directly in an Institute lab in Albany, NY.
