Our NY State Industry Partners

Part of our mission is to work with New York biotech companies to create a pipeline of trained workers to directly contribute to New York State research and innovation.

CERRT RNA Research

We do this by forming partnerships with leading NY State industries to create paid internships, co-ops, and summer training positions for our trainees. This allows them to receive the hands-on experience needed to be a valuable member of a scientific research team in New York State Biotech.

"The STEM economy in New York is closely linked to educational institutions such as the State University of New York at Albany and University of Rochester. Regeneron maintains a strong relationship with research universities, both through direct collaboration with university researchers and hiring university graduates. This relationship is critical to Regeneron’s ongoing success and our future."

"Curia, as one of the leading contract research, development, and manufacturing organizations, is driven by the collective talents of our employees. Given our commitment to continuous employee improvement, we are very pleased to offer our strong support towards your efforts to establish a New York State Center of Excellence (COE) in RNA Research and Therapeutics. Innovation, workforce development and economic opportunities focused on ribonucleic acid (RNA) science are on the leading edge of the next wave of biotechnological and pharmaceutical advances that will have significant local and global impacts. We are excited to engage with your COE and its trainees across a variety of mechanisms, including through internship and co op programs . It is always exciting to work with talented young trainees as they take their first steps towards productive, lucrative and long-lasting high-tech careers in the State of New York."

"sxRNA Technologies (sxRNA Tech) is at the forefront of developing proof-of-concept sxRNA products for use in the biomanufacturing, therapeutic and diagnostic space. The biomedical and health sciences sector is one of the fastest growing sectors of the economy, but its growth is significantly hampered by a lack of skilled workers. Your COE’s workforce development and training programs can provide this workforce and will make a significant contribution to the economy of New York State."

Scott Tenenbaum, PhD. Chief Executive Officer/ Chief Scientific Officer, sxRNA Technologies, Inc.

"miR Scientific is a part of the ongoing wave of innovative healthcare companies focused on ribonucleic acid (RNA) that are currently having significant impacts across the state of New York and globally. Creating careers in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) is critical to our success and we are pleased to help to create and maintain long-term sustained economic growth in New York. We look forward to welcoming your talented trainees into our organization, working with your scientists on the next generation of RNA-based innovations, and together building the advances in RNA science that will benefit New York State".

"Having a readily available local supply of well trained researchers provides our organizations with a competitive advantage over other stem cell companies and allows us to provide the necessary materials and resources to laboratories across the nation engaged in neural stem cell research. In this manner, your proposed Center of Excellence in RNA Research and Therapeutics will enable us to recruit new workers and remain competitive against other nearby biotechnology centers, such as the Boston metropolitan area."

"I cannot think of a current field with as much potential for both health and economic innovation as RNA-based research and therapeutics. The combined expertise offered by URMC and SUNY Albany, as well as the supportive NYS business sectors, of which Scriptr Global, Inc. is now a part, highlights that designation and funding for Rochester and Albany as a NYS COE will benefit NYS in countless avenues. We at Scriptr Global, Inc. look forward to harnessing the full potential of RNA technology, and importantly the potential of New York State residents, which from our perspective, are both unlimited."
