Dr. Eric Wang received CERRT 'SPARK' Award 2025

Dr. Eric Wang has been honored with the first-ever SPARK (Significant Progress Advancing RNA Knowledge) award by CERRT for his remarkable contributions to RNA research and education. His impactful work includes advancing understanding of Myotonic Dystrophy, a toxic RNA disease and championing efforts toward a cure through research and advocacy. He was presented with the award during the RNA Day (Aug 1, 2025) celebration at the RNA Institute, UAlbany by New York State Assemblymember John T McDonald III.
